Bideawee, one of the nation’s oldest animal adoption centers, celebrated its 2014 annual ball with a masquerade soirée at Gotham Hall last night. Hosted by Cat Greenleaf, of NBC’s award-winning talk show Talk Stoop with Cat Greenleaf, honorees included London Jewelers President, Candy Udell and cosmetic entrepreneur and former Bachelor star Prince Lorenzo Borghese. The bidding grew heated for auction items which included the opportunity to have your favorite furry friend featured on a Times Square billboard, two tickets, hotel and airfare to the 2014 Primetime Emmy awards and dinner for six at the legendary Rao’s restaurant, designated by Forbes as “the toughest reservation in the country – if not the world.”  Other noteworthy auction items included a jaw-dropping diamond and ruby Hope Collar crafted by London jewelers, a diamond encrusted David Yurman cuff, a coveted VBH black satin evening clutch, an up-to-the-minute Michael Kors handbag and a $1,000 gift certificate to the über-stylish SoHo boutique, Private Stock.
